Giada's 2017 Autumn and Fall/Winter collections are creative interpretations and extensions of contemporary art by creative director Gabriele Colangelo.
The paintings of three contemporary artists, Katrin Bremermann, Kees Goudzwaard and Reza Derakshani, are reflected in the new collection through various expressions such as silhouette, jacquard and print. When creating Giada's 2017 early autumn and fall/winter collections, creative director Gabriele Colangelo said: "I want to be a minimalist in design style and a 'extremeist' in detail." The carving of the details is the consistent pursuit of Giada as a luxury brand.
The core inspiration for the Giada 2017 early autumn collection is the delicate and soft geometric pattern of the German artist Katrin Bremermann's paintings and the translucent microscopic shape of the Belgian artist Kees Goudzwaard. Bremmerman's painting explores the relationship between artistic language and aesthetic experience. He transforms the color block into a sculpture and eventually becomes the painting itself. In the early autumn series of Giada 2017, the use of monochrome became the language of creation. Water color, yellow gray, olive green and ruby color are the colors of a single item or a complete look. This coincides with Kees Goudzwaard's creative philosophy. Goudzwaard's work focuses on paints and colors, trying to give every audience the freedom to perceive color and shape. This degree of freedom is the wonder of the Giada 2017 early autumn collection.
The core of the Giada 2017 Fall/Winter collection is inspired by the work of the Iranian artist Reza Derakshani, the highly decorative style of Persian art is the way artists explore the world, and the creative director Gabriele Colangelo uses an almost imperceptible approach. The style became a smooth and subtle design in the new Giada collection. It is worth mentioning that Derakshani is also a musician and poet. Therefore, the grasp of the melody and rhythm is reflected in his canvas, also reflected in the Giada 2017 autumn and winter series.
The prints of the Giada 2017 autumn and autumn and winter collections can be seen in the artist's paintings. Creative director Gabriele Colangelo is not satisfied with the grafting of the plane, but more like a three-dimensional re-creation. These prints, in the form of pleats and splits, are combined with silk, cashmere and other fabrics to present a colorful form. The exclusive jacquard weaves the painting elements into the fabric. Each season, Giada independently develops and patents a variety of fabrics. Therefore, whether it is a silk dress and Shirt or a wool-bottomed jacquard coat can accurately reflect these elements.
The entire collection reveals a free-looking texture: a slightly longer sleeve than the palm, a high-waisted dress that stretches from the waistline to the folds under the knees; a long streamline behind the waist and a slightly contoured silhouette. Among them, pleats are undoubtedly the crowning touch of this season's ready-to-wear. Unique voile pleats, each pleated piece takes more than 20 hours to make; calfskin is set on the silk fabric, showing a beautiful pleated shape from the texture. These flowing skirts sway beautifully with beautiful textures. This is the perfect expression of Giada's feminine feelings: the luxurious fabric makes the romantic and free temperament have a space for expression, and therefore more calm.
