Production, exports, The growth rate of major economic indicators, such as investment, has continued to slow, and the efficiency has declined. “In China, the issue of cotton price difference between inside and outside China is the primary factor affecting the operation of the textile industry.”

According to reports, due to the slowdown in the economic growth of the industry, textile companies' investment confidence has declined, investment growth has slowed down, and new projects have decreased. From January to June, the loss of the company was 18.4%, and the loss of loss-making enterprises increased by 124.1% year-on-year. Cotton spinning and chemical fiber were affected by the price fluctuations of raw materials. The profits of the industry all showed a negative growth trend. From January to June, the chemical fiber industry decreased by 52.3%, and the profits of 105 cotton textile backbone enterprises decreased by 52.1%.

Since 2012, on the one hand, the textile industry's production growth rate has continued to slow down. From January to July, 37,000 textile enterprises above designated size achieved a total industrial output value of 3144.71 billion yuan, a decrease of 18.8 percentage points from the same period of last year. On the other hand, the growth rate of domestic consumption of textile and apparel in China has declined. From January to July, the domestic output value of textile enterprises above designated size was 2507.73 billion yuan, a drop of 20.3 percentage points from the same period of last year.
