Y-3 autumn and winter sports fashion expression (Figure)

In autumn and winter of 2009, Y-3's latest series of themes emphasizes: “The fashion expressiveness of sports”. Yohji Yamamoto and adidas began to explore the direction of more masculinity in the field of clothing. Inspired by uniforms and Japanese-style tailoring, the beauty of the 09-10 autumn/winter collection focuses on: precise proportions, elaborate details, contrasts between luxury winter fabrics and sports functional ingredients, and more. The masculine design concept runs through the entire women's collection. It features a very loose fit and cut, such as an ultra-short double-breasted tweed coat, a dovetail jacket, and more. The characteristics of the Y-3 Men's collection are: double-layered sportswear and unusual fabrics such as polyester pants and corduroy belts that are tied to the windbreaker. Extra large pockets and subtle three-bars are also used throughout the series to reflect Master Yohji Yamamoto's own understanding and interpretation of sporty elegance. Military uniforms, sports contours also appear in footwear.
